No pics ?

I'm sure TRBenj is/has checked into this one. They can't possibly all be running/complete for that price ? Can you say GROUP BUY !

You would think that if someone had 8 they would know how to spell Nautique and would also know that the manufacture is Correct Craft not Ski Nautique. Something’s fishy.

Damn straight I did! Sent the email this AM. Would love to find a cheap 87 or 88.

My guess is that its legit. There are a fair number of BFN's on Lake George- theyre a great big lake ski boat. The parasailing company was using them as well- maybe thats where these are coming from.

Keep us in the loop Tim. May be easier than everyone bombarding the guy w/ emails and having him think he has the BFN market cornered. If you've already bought them ALL , I will take one for Christmas ( it can be the worst one).

I wish I could slip one of those past my wife. That's the only boat I'd adjust my "no bowtie" lifestyle for.

I bet they're all part boats this guy has collected over the years, probably one complete running boat out of the bunch. A picture is worth a thousand words, and nobody's talking! If I owned a fleet of BFN's, there wouldn't be enough room on my computer to store all the pictures I would have. Either that, or ReidP has moved to New York state?!!?!?

That doesn't sound promising.   I'm 5 hours away, maybe Tim will chime in, or someone closer could have a peek ? 10 hours is a long drive with absolutely nothing to go on. $2900 X 8 doesn't add up.... Or....possibly Tim hasn't reported back because he's in N.Y., trying to figure out how to get 8 boats home

How about JoeNY or Flying Brian? The guys at Adirondack probably know something about them also.

I agree, no self respecting BFN owner would say they own a "Correct Craft Barefoot made by Ski Nautiques"!!! This is bogus!!!

BTW, if it's legit, I'm in for $4K on group buy, $3750 for the boat and $250 for whoever is bringing it down to FL for me!!!

You couldn't enlist a better buyer's agent than Joe or Tim. Who can get there first?

I'm not sure how far Bryan is in Jersey from there. One would have to assume that if Tim's checking into this that JoeinNy is already involved in some way.

   I can't take it anymore...sent the seller an e-mail.

   What's up Steve ?

Late to the party on this one, about 6 hours round trip for me, a little less without a boat in tow I would figure. If someone gets this guy on the phone and is serious I would consider jumping up that way this weekend to check them out.

Im looking to get more info, but this seems legit. There are 8 boats ranging in price from 2.9k to 5.9k. If I can get in touch with the seller tomorrow, I may be able to get there this weekend. Im looking for a 87-88 for myself, and will pass along any info I get.

Hey Mike, all is good here.

Lot of cool old CCs for sale recently. I'm talking to a nice guy about his 1970 Wildcat less than 30 minutes from my house. He has owned since new. If I don't do anything with it, I'll help him get it on the site.

I wonder what's in the "large parts inventory"?

I'd love to find a factory barefoot engine...be it blown, frozen or whatever so long as it's cheap. I want to take one apart now that I know a little better what I'm looking at.

     Buffalo,
In my email I inquired about the parts. If I hear anything, I'll let you know

I just got off the phone with the seller. Sounds like I was right- the boats were used for parasailing and as tow/maintenance boats. Sounds like theyre pretty rough cosmetically (both gel and interior-wise), and most have higher hours. Those looking for a project may find something in the lot- Ill be heading up to take a look within the next few weeks. If anyone wants more info, Id be happy to share my notes- shoot me an email: TRBenj@gmail.com

I got an email back from him as well. He said 4 of them are in working order. Two of them have lower hours...between 500-800. He will take between 5k to 7k per for the two in better shape. I will be curious what you find when you get up there!
