As a teenager I skied behind a Correct Craft every day. All I remember is it was mid 60’s, and the boat was white and red. I promised myself that someday I would own one. In 1999 I found this beauty.
The topside was all spider carcked only on the areas that were white gel-coat. On a tip from the local lobstermen I filled the spider-cracks with many coats of Petit Easypoxy undercoat, sanding between coats. Then top coated with Petit Easypoxy white. The red is Easypoxy as well. The bottom I painted with Petit bottom paint. I also painted the interior with the same Petit topside paints. Hopefully new upholstery this year.
The engine package is the "Gray 160", which is a Buick 215 ci aluminum V-8, 160 hp with fresh water cooling. The engine had very few hours but had sat since 1980! So it got the rebuild it deserved.
