This 1972 promo boat has been in my family since 1974 and was purchased from the original owner. The boat served us well for many years and has over 1500 fun-filled hours on it. Unfortunately, it has been languishing in a barn for the last several years and is now in need of a major refurbishment.

My understanding is that this particular color combination (Salem Orange hull with Splash Lemon interior) is fairly rare. The story I heard was that Correct Craft’s marketing folks thought the prior years’ promo boats were too subtle and they wanted to make a bold statement in ’72. The boat has much of the original interior intact.

The orange/yellow/brown carpet was added in 1976 and was a major improvement over the original gray vinyl flooring.

The Conqueror Crusader version of the Ford 351 engine is all original with the exception of electronic ignition that was added a few years back.

These are all "before" pictures as I’m just starting the restoration.
