Year 2001 freind Bob Guyton gave me a call" Steve Ausborn", found old wooden boat for sale. Told me it was a Correct Craft.I responded by saying will take it sight unseen. Went to pick up boat was in very rough condition. He looked at me thinking what have I bought. For we are co-owners in this restoration project.

Bottom of boat was rotten ,motor looked bad not knowing if runs, full of leaves, very poor paint all over. I saw potential for the beauty this boat has to offer when completed. Worked on together when we could spare time. Slowly progressed monthly, got more excited as time went by closer to finishing. Set goal to launch 4th July 2003,we made this date.

Very exciting day, runs great about 36 mph top speed. Great having freind to share his treasure with me.
