This is a 1966 model correct craft mustang. I purchased this from a guy in Orlando who had intended on restoring her. Well after 10 years he decided to give up. He never titled it, so I am the second titled owner. I am not sure if the windsheild is original, but I have seen Correct craft brochures from 66’ with this windshield.
The reason I am not sure, is there are some filled holes in the gel coat around the windshield.

The boat was repainted a few years ago in the original "tangerine orange" that was available as an optional color. Also the deck was orange as an option. I have just buffed the finish out. The entire interior boat was redone including the stringers and the floor.

The original interceptor 260 HP motor was in the boat at the time I purchased it, but was non-repairable and I had an engine shop in Deland Florida build a new Ford 302 right hand rotation motor to but back in. The exhaust manifolds are new polished aluminium from Glenwood marine in California($900.00)delivered. The interior is all new, including the steering cable and all the control cables. The repaint on the exterior is in ok shap, it does have nicks and scratches, but overall it is ok. The rub real is new and replaced the original exactly.

The boat has about 5 hours on since I restored it. It gets taken out a few times a year to show it off, and boy does it draw attention. I will post more pictures of it, including the motor. I really do not want to sell this boat, but I have an 2002 Pro Air Nautique that gets used the most.

I have totaled the recepts on the restoration ($6700)with out my time included(300 hours, I estimate). I know it would be hard to get that out of it, so I just have kept it in my finished shop, and let my friends drool over it when we play pool. Incidently this boat was restored in Florida, but I have moved to Tumbling shoals Arkansas on Greers Ferry Lake, where the boat is located now.
