Hey CCF,

Happy to be a part of the group here at CCF!

In Brief, (just to get started, I'll add more later) I grew up on a lake in the foot hills of the Adirondack Mts. on the edge if Lake Delta, in the hart of the Mohawk Valley Just North of Rome NY. As a result lake living is in my blood. I have very few memories before we built our house there back in 1967. I was 3 years old.

There were lots of different boats on the water in those days, including the ones I would make and/or modify along the way, from toys to skiffs to fishing boats and later my family's ski boat, A Penn Yann I/O with a strait 4 cylinder mercury PCM. Circa 1971.
As many young boys do, I dreamt of I time I could drive and own an inboard for my self, and best of all, if it was a Correct Craft Ski Nautique. The sound is what got me I think. What a dream! It was very frustrating, But I learned and kept dreaming.

In 1986 the hook was . While I was away at school my dad finally bought a 1983 2001 SN. Yahoo!!! The summers on the lake were never the same! : ) ...and I know you know what I'm taking about.

Fast forward - On November 1st 2017 I bought my blue and white 1980 SN!
...To be continued...
