This is a 1955 Commuter Deluxe. I could go on and on about the restoration but lets just say that Alan Arrighi worked his magic on this boat! We completely dismantled the sides and top decking. The sides were cleaned up and refastened but the top deck is all new wood along with the transom. It is amazing. We repowered the boat from its original 135HP Graymarine inline 6 to a period correct 1955 Chrysler Imperial 331 Hemi. It was in fact an actual option from Correct Craft!
This Commuter and the Hurricane are very similar in hull shape and we call them cousins. It is spectacular to see these two boats side by side in the water!
