This 1979 Ski Tique was owned by my father from 1981 thru 1990, when a new Ski Nautique 2001 was purchased. This boat was sold to a family friend in Raleigh, NC then and he kept it until 2012 when I had the opportunity to purchase the boat back. I did so knowing it would require a full restoration at some point in the next few years. After overheating the engine due to a freshwater impeller failure, the time was right to start the restoration. That was in 2014. Four years later, the boat is back to 'new' condition with an engine and stringer system that is better than new.
On August 3, 2018, the Ski Tique that I learned to ski behind was put back on the water and a new era of memories began.
It is my goal to teach my 5 and 7 year old children how to ski behind the same boat that I learned to ski behind.
