I recently purchased this wonderfully retro '93 Ski Nautique barn find. It came with the Ford 351 5.8L Pro Boss HO with the ProTec ignition. It also included a Barefoot Int'l boom and a couple of wakeboards. After some minor engine and gauge work, it ran beautifully however needed a ton of elbow grease. It was stored in the corner of a horse barn in Southeastern Wisconsin. After many, many hours of removing dirt, grime, and scale, it really came alive. I still have some fiberglass repairs to get after and more work on the trailer but it should be a wonderful restoration when it's complete. Here is an after and a before shot.
It takes me right back to the many years spent as an amateur show skier in Wisconsin and some marginally successful competitive barefooting. It is a great feeling to get behind a Correct Craft again!
