I purchased this 1964 Tournament Skier TS338 from the original owner 25 years ago and had a lot of fun with it for 15 years at which point I started a complete restoration. Unfortunately, time restraints have not allowed me to complete this project.
As it sits, it is upside down with no bottom. I have done all the structural work and am ready to scarf the 3/8 meranti for the bottom. Top sides are in good shape as is the deck. The engine has had all machine work done and is awaiting reassembly. This boat is completely original with all hardware intact and operational. It sits on the original Correct Craft trailer which was ordered from the dealer with a second axle.
I am retiring 1/1/19 and plan to get back to this project full time.
I don't see very many Tournament Skiers out there and am interested in how many are left. I toured Correct Craft in Orlando and looked up the records for this boat. I was told that they transitioned to fiberglass in 64 1/2.
