1982 Ski Nautique by Correct Craft
375 Hours, Awesome Wake, Completely Restored
Details
I bought this boat in 2004 and used it for the summer. At the time, area just behind the driver’s seat and just in front of the observer’s seat was getting soft. I spent the Fall 04 / Spring 05 and cutout the floor from the dash to the ski pylon. I used marine grade plywood that was again treated with a barrier and than ultimately fiberglassed over. The stringers were in good shape and I completely reinforced the area to be stronger than from the factory.
I also had the carpet replaced throughout the boat and the interior completely redone with marine grade carpet and vinyl. I replaced the drivers seat with a newer model that flips up.
During that time, I had a local metal fabrication shop, fabricate a tower that resembles the flight control tower found on newer Nautiques. It is super strong, and there is absolutely no sway, super rigid. I added a wakeboard rack and tower speakers.
I added a Marine Clarion Cd Player, with 2 Rockford Fosgate 6.5 Speakers, Kicker Amp, and 2 Tower Speakers. (tower speakers not pictured, but included)
I also bought a Sunbrella cover and had it fabricated to fit around the tower. The cover cost over $800.00
The boat was just recently painted by a professional shop. The paint was actually baked on for durability and is a navy blue. I do have the replica stickers available for the boat, but I have not put them on. I will give them to the next owner to make the choice if they want them on.
Engine
The engine is a Chevrolet 350 with an upgraded electronic ignition. It has tons of power, starts right up, and runs great. I changed the impeller every season and changed the oil atleast once a season. I did a compression check when I bought it and each cylinder had around 140 psi. It is really not too bad on gas either. We are more recreational wakeboarders, so we never ran it with additional weight, but
Trailer
The trailer has has brand new tires within the last year and have only aprx. 400 miles on them. I have also repacked the bearings. The trailer was redone with new lights, and paint just before I bought it in 2004.
Contact Information
This is a great boat and the wake is absolutely awesome. There is not a boat that can touch the wake for this price. It also hold speed incredibly well and tracks perfectly.
The boat is located in Emporia, KS and I am asking $10,900. I will be happy to meet a buyer within a reasonable distance. I am selling because I bought a Prostar 205v to fit my growing family.
