If you are reading this, you know that this boat was built like a bullet—-it was built to last. Powered by the 210 horsepower Chrysler with original 4 barrel carburetor (up to 50 mph!); it has only 756 original hours of use. This boat was only used in fresh water (on Fence Lake in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin). It has NEVER touched salt water. Unlike newer models, this boat is very easy on gas.
I am the original owner. This boat has been extremely underused all of its life and it shows beautifully. Used sparingly (over a 2 month period each summer), the boat has ALWAYS been stored inside a boathouse with tracks when not in use both winters and summers. This is a tremendous running boat that is ready to use and needs no work. It still runs as solid as the day it was built.
Features:
• Boat is all original except for new bilge pump/blower, new composite fuel tank, new upholstery on seats/engine cover and new carpeting
• Engine holds 8 quarts of oil, and oil has always been changed at least twice a year; quick oil drain installed
• Interior is super clean
• Original bow pennant and stern flag
• Original manual and dealer prep sheet
• Original trailer included (in good condition).
• Ideal for wakeboarding, water-skiing, cruising, sight-seeing, etc.
The distinguishing touch of the Barracuda is the classic mellow sound created by the through-hull exhaust... the engine resonates the authentic deep inboard sound--they don’t make ‘em like this anymore!!!
