This ’81 Nautique needs a lot of love. My father purchased her from a Boy Scout ranch in East Texas some years ago. He passed away a few years ago, and I’ve not found the time to invest in moving this project along.

She is a 20th Anniversary Special Edition and comes with a very rare trailer that has a painted-to-match fiberglass cowling (vapor blue & white). The interior needs complete replacement; I have a quote from nautiqueskins.com of $1,317 for new upholstery skins, floor & wall carpet, and carpet trim. The hull is in reasonably good shape, although it does have some dock rash, a couple of chips in the gelcoat, and a spot where the rub rail has pulled out. The engine will not turn over with a battery hooked up, although the starter will engage. The windshield is good, but the side vents need new panes. All teak woodwork is present and serviceable with the exception of the throttle knob. The prop, shaft, speedo pickups and fins are fine. Boat comes with a new vapor blue boat cover.

The trailer has new tires, a new spare, a new tilt-down jackstand w/ wheel, and new bearing buddies.

I’m happy to take add’l pictures or provide more info to those interested. If you’ve ever considered undertaking a Nautique restoration, this one is a worthwhile and relatively straightforward project. Thanks for looking!
