Lots of Great boats this year too, many for the first time

Pete's Atom

This will be a first for Dave Rezabeks award winning Atom

Another first is Don Warnke's Utiliy, I'm bringing my camera for this one

Sue and Toms. Absolutely georgeous 78, (This is year and color scheme of the very first nautique I even skied behind)

Also a reverse gel 196 that is pretty unique and a first timer. And of course all the other returning and great friends. What more do you need? Maybe a best of 3 ( if I can last that long) volleyball match thursday night?
You can’t change the wind but you can adjust your sails

Dave, I have an extra room at the AmericInn in Ripon. I was holding it for my folks, but it doesn't look like they are going to make it (Still working on a plan to get Dad's boat there). I'll keep holding it in case someone needs it. Let me know.

As mentioned there are still places to stay in and around Green Lake...
And as Alan mentioned some of the most beautiful original and originally restored boats will be there in GL this year..

In addition to the "WARM" water we already have for our Sat in water gathering, we have just confirmed the first annual "CCFan Tech Sessions" to be held during the Fri night boat show.

TECH SESSIONS INC'D

Shaft alignment: This will be a practical instruction session that will show the proper way to align a direct drive Boat.

Gel refinishing: This is also a hands on demonstration of the correct way to wet sand and buff original gel back from the dead.

Gel detail: This session will help show some methods with specialty boat care products on how you can keep your boat looking like new.

Each session will be 20 minutes long and is scheduled to start @ 7pm Fri night... The sessions will be located around the perimeter of the tent that will be located among the boats in the parking lot.

So, with that said, it's not to late to sign up and come out to enjoy the great Green Lake weather we'll have this year, but to take some knowledge back with you as well...

See you there !!!

Water temp was not bad at all last Fri. even on the south side of GL. Just bought a '75 Ski Tique for a camp located on the south side of the lake right across from the ABA and Norwegian Bay. Has a rebuilt 350 Chevy and I can't wait to drop it in and check it out if the rain will stop sometime today....

Yes, weather and water were awesome all around Should be great for this years reunion. I ran into the whole Evans clan flotilla while I was out... It appears that they were all having a blast. Dan, I must have gotten out of there just in time to beat the rain on Sunday. Hopefully it clears out for you!

I have collected a few Ales to bring over, is it right you can only bring in 1L of alcohol into the USA and if so how much is the duty if you have more?
Some of them are more of a acquired taste,

Lets have a go

Hahaha, I think Quinner remembers the "Bishop's Finger" doh'

Don't know about the import, but it's very close if not right on to what you mention. And of course it has to be checked in. No carry on..

Everyone, I just got off the phone with the Lakeside Motel - there are five rooms still available for Friday and Saturday nights.

Two steps from the Gooseblind and accross the street from the boat ramp.

Well it sure look's like another great turn out this year.

I told Keith not to worry few months ago..

But I am sad to say, I have to sit this one out.

Keith thank you for the invite and the offer.

And for everyone else, have a blast be safe and enjoy the ride.

See everyone next time.

Anybody know if Pauly-Banana and his crew are going to make it this year, sure would be great to have them back again. How about Gary Hein (Stang) and his Goon Squad?

I talked with Gary a couple weeks ago. Probably not going to make the whole weekend, but might try to get up for a day. I think his kids are doing a good job of keeping the old man tapped with hockey and wakeboarding.

Somebody else should call and bug him!

Tim,
Too bad you can't make it. I really was looking forward to meet you...
Oh well, let us take rest in the fact that "there's always next time"...

BTW I know how you feel... I had to cancel my plans too last year

I am registered along with my son austin (17). We booked site 36 at sherwood campground. Thanks to whoever just canceled it. I am very excited. Have to get new tires on the trailer, repack the bearings and get the thing tuned up and running right.Who do I have for neighbors? Excited to meet all of you.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Dave that would be my buddy Chip. Very good site , but it sits on a gradual hill. We are not gonna make it this time.
We have made the last 4, and the budget says NO for this year. We had a "hope" that we would do a last minute deal as we did last year, no way.
We have booked site # 35 for the last few years, possibly the best tent site on the Campground. Is Reggie still the manager there?
If you want you can move a little east to a better site.........Billy

Hey Neighbor!

I believe that may have been Tim B that canceled. I think he was there last year. I'm on 34. Kittie corner to you.

I have been torturing myself by looking at flights to the US the last couple of weeks. Jo was ready to pack her bags and go. We were thinking of making a surprise visit but the contract I am currently working on is having work added to it now.

Billy I had a quiet last financial year also. It is changing now that some good projects are coming along.

Wish I could escape our winter and meet all you guys again at beautiful Green Lake. Have a great time. I will be thinking about you guys and make sure you post plenty of pictures and yarns.

P.S. Kristof no bathtub shots.
If you're going through hell, keep going

Nope, you got it right Steve. I had booked 35-38 and just let go of 35 and 36 last night. Joe will be keeping 37-38, as usual.
