A very big THANK YOU to Reid and Laurie for the great weekend. Thanks goes out to Mike and Gale for letting me wake surf behind their boat. Thanks to Raindog and Joe, I can say I did wake surf if even only for for twenty yards. These events really are great. I learn so much every time I go. The members of this site are the best! Already looking forward to the St Johns trip.

Eric, your boat looks great!. I'm looking forward to seeing more pics of it in the water. If Reid had invited his buddy Doug over, (PO of ours), he probably would have cried.

Eric's boat was definitely a hit and a ball to drive. But Eric, you made no mention about that classic old Clarkebar special SN that showed up Saturday morning and became your newest project boat. I'll keep quiet and let you post and describe it. Can't wait to see IT completed.

Nope, but when Eric's done with his touch, it'll be just as cool. Oh yeah, I said I'm keeping quiet, right. The orange Promo is member JMurph's which was just picked up from off CCFan last week, and a boat that sit's high on my bucket list as well.

The orange one parked in front of the house? That one was for somebody else.

Jerry was nice enough to drive up to Ohio and grab that Promo for me last week. I haven't even seen it in person yet. I can't believe that I'm headed down to Reid's this coming weekend. Man, was I a little late or what?

Looks like you guys had a blast. So sorry I missed it.

What is that? Another gathering at Reid's this weekend! Sweet! Just kidding but one could get used to hanging out there! Cool boat. Your gonna love the interior.

LOL. I would not choose that interior, but that's what came in those promo boats. I think they succeeded in getting everyone's attention with it.

Come on over. I'm going to ski a little on Friday afternoon. I'm not sure what Reid's status is? He may actually have to work for once. I'll post some pictures for everyone after the weekend.

Pure 70's! You gotta kind of love it. Wish I could make it down but we are in the middle of my son's soccer season.

Here is that beauty Chris Craft pulling in. Listen to the exhaust note!

Thanks Kurt. Eddie is a treat to watch ain't he? And that BFN of his is beautiful. Altho purple would not be among my choices for a boat that boat of Marty's is a beauty as well.

Sure am enjoying all the pictures you guys are posting. Makes me feel worse about not being there!

Okay, here are a few pics of boats and the fans who make them special. I tried to pick out what I thought summed up the weekend and few extra shots of Bully the CCFan party animal!

Well, the Midwest Terrestrial Unit stealthily departed at 7:30 AM local time. Surprisingly, no one was awake to personally thank and say good bye. Huh, go figure.

Not much to add that the previous posts, pics and vids didn't capture. Reid and Laurie are awesome hosts and one helluva lot of fun. I met quite a few new members and it is always good to see many now familiar ones.

A personal big thank you goes out to Mike and Gail for the generous boat time in and behind their awesome 210. It was really great to spend time out on the water and get to know the both of you better.

Wow, without a doubt, the pictures sure prove that everyone had a great time. I sure wish I had the opportunity to make it. Maybe next time if Reid and Laurie do it again.

Tim, in that one shot you took of Reid driving Eric's Classic, it looks like Reid found a new barber?

The teal '83 belongs to Tom, a buddy of Reids. The floor is a bit spongy but the boat ran great- topped out at 51.5.

Curtis's blue/gray '87 can be seen in the background- very nice looking and driving boat! I wish Eddie had given us the thumbs up on GPS'ing his Python machine, but no such luck. It pulled 6 of us out of the water pretty well, but Id love to know what it tops out at! Jon did say that he had to back off after he hit 40 with us behind it... not that all 6 of us made it onto our feet at one time anyways.

Larry, clown act is right. I think we waited too long (past noon) on Sat to get our act together... Ive never stared down so many rollers and stepped off anyway!

The teal is a nice looking boat. I believe I met Tom last March. I've heard Curtis's boat is real nice. Keep this pics coming!

My friends got a good taste of showskiing right there. Lining up in the cove watching 40' offshores rip down the main channel perpendicular to our path isn't typically what you want to see before a barefoot run.

Oh, and Eddie's boat is obviously a 1990 model year. That black and grey early 80s 2001 sure was a nice boat, I wish I snagged some pictures.

BTW, Tom's teal 83 BFN is FOR SALE.
