Well folks, as some of you may remember, I bought, last fall, a 1980 American Skier from one of my best friends, who was the original buyer. The boat has 127 hrs total time. It's essentially a brand new 26 year old boat. Just incredible.
I just brought it home today and thought I'd post a few pictures. When the light is better I'll take some more and get them in the diaries section as well as it's description and detailed history. But briefly, the boat and trailer are completely original. All manuals, receipts, bills of sale, engine manuals, service manuals, etc... I have it all. It's really a time caplsule. Plenty of good reading for the next few days. Pics are at Flickr. Here is my public URL. http://www.flickr.com/photos/allpics/ There are some 'non-boat' pics there also, so enjoy those also. I'll get up to speed with posting pictures on the website soon enough. thanks. |

Mike ;Awesome lookin' boat! Always loved that model of American Skier. Knew a guy in our ski club in Ohio that has an identical one to yours. Enjoy! Nice pics. Where are the aerial shots from?

Thanks guys. This model is the Skier 18. Can't wait to get out tomorrow and do a bit of cleaning.
I snapped the aerials over Irondeqoit Bay, NY. |
