After looking at that thread on repairing a hull,I thought I'd update my project.I still have some more sanding to do since I have some fine scratches but it is working.Things that I have learned are, gel coat sands easily, you have to be extra careful on curves and edges. You are going to get a orange peel finish no matter how hard you try. And if I had alot of this to do I would spray several coats of gel coat with out the wax additive letting it set up between coats then as a final coat use the wax additive gel.I have had to spray, sand, spray to get the thickness built up.Too thick all at once you get sags because it takes too long to "kick". I'm pretty much done for the year since it getting too cool to work with the gel.
Before- After- I think I'll be asking for one of these for Christmas |

Steve,
Just a thought here but now that Gary has the glass work figured out, he could make you a scoop for the hole in that dog house you're going to cut! |

I like those goofy trailer guides I would then have book ends,a SS Mustang and SS Barracuda both with prototype trailer guides!
