I had my doubts about the larger Sportsmans, but the '66 brochure mentions 17', 19' and 20' versions. Im sure it was just a trim level thing... Im sure the 17' used the Barracuda hull, the 19' version used the Tournament Skier/Wildcat hull, and the 20' version used the Riviera/Debonnaire hull.

That hull looks exactly like my Debonnaire. That guy seems a little optimistic at $3,600 for a bare hull without a power train.

A Super Air swim platform for sale. It won't, as he says, "Fit many models and years", but perhaps somebody here can use it. It won't fit my 1993 Ski, so I'm just passing along the word

Marty,
This did come up a couple years ago. I contacted the seller and reading between the lines found out the hull is the typical CC basket case. All the seams are opening up due to CC use of the bedding compound (we call it dumb-dumb) that dries out over the years.

It's still a viable project but, it would need to be taken down to the frames.

This boat just arrived at my shop very nice 2001 year model. If anyone wants the low down I will be more than happy to help! we are servicing and detailing the boat. trailer is a little rough but over all it is a very nice clean boat. The man said he would take 15K for it!
Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

Light blue hull and deck- sweet looking boat, at a nice price! Someone must be able to tell just by looking- is that a 440?

I'd say a 426 wedge by the description. That looks like a great boat.

Ah, so there was a non-hemi 426 too... Mopar big blocks.

If I were in the market for a larger vintage CC, Id be all over that boat!

I wonder why he bought it last fall and is already selling for $2,500.

Is that flat top motorbox a replacement? Nice looking boat, and in my color!

Peter, your boat would make a great turnkey buy for someone, all restored, tons of power. A buyer will turn up.

That Wildcat seems like a great buy, I have a feeling a CCF member will own it soon.

The 2000 sport was real. That posting is almost 2 1/2 yrs old. I bought it. It was an end of the season trade in on a leftover Malibu. Not a salavage boat The dealer just wanted to get his money out of the trade before winter. He even fixed a couple of things that I request.

It appears to be severely overpriced, but theres what appears to be a '83 Masters 2001 on CL in Indiana.

This boat was previously discussed here. The Masters boats were discussed here.

Tim thanks for the links to the past threads, really cool info on those boats from Pauly. It's interesting - a boat that is one of 3 made should carry some added value for someone, but really it would be hard to justify much of a premium. Seems like a dealer or CC might want to preserve one.

Those bunks are scary. I'd think if the trailer rocked a bit too much over some bumps they would just collapse to one side or the other.
