I would like to switch trailers. I have a 1984 2001 and a 1996 196. Can I swap trailers?

Doubt it, the '96 is 9" wider, you only have about 3-4" on each side of the hull before hitting the fenders. Get on a crooked ramp and you'll be sure to end up on top of one, we did last night with the '88 on it's factory trailer.

The '88 will fit on the '96 trailer, but like HW said, probably not the other way around.
