Just received the shifter knob and it looks outstanding! So much more prominent and classy than the little black plastic one from the factory. Great product!

Thought I'd post a picture. Looks great and the boat is at least 2 mph faster. Nice!

BJ, I have all three of the custom knobs from you perfectly aligned to their boats. I simply used a 3/8-18 die (I think that's the size) to add a little more thread to the throttle lever. Check position and add a little more thread. Repeat until perfect!! See the CT mini reunion photos on Aug 29 in the Reunion Section above for the yellow one on the Banana Barefooter.

PS I'm almost ready to need another knob. I'll be in touch soon. Thanks, Todd Benjamin

Hi BJ,

My 78 Ski Nautique is begging for a red one. Any chance you have a red one left?

BJ,
I just got back from Orlando with the '63 Plastic Classic (an addition to the "stable") and need a Red Shifter Knob. I'll put a check in the mail with my address, so if you could work your magic to find one, I would appreciate it. This makes four Knobs!! Glad to have met you last March, and I have worked the technique to get them straight and tight!!

Thanks, Todd

Todd, Glad to hear the 'Plastic Classic' is in good hands. That is one sweet boat and glad it stayed in house! Congrat's on the new ride!

Tim, Thanks for the compliment, It truly is a sweet ride with the contacts and technical support that Jared Woodall had in helping with the rebuild and the motor. I'm sure it will remain in the BFN (Benjamin Fleet (of) Nautiques) for many a year!!

Anyway, BJ, I'm working on the hanger and I put the check for you in the hands of the USPO this AM.

Thanks, Todd
