We speak norwgian in norway.
We got this tube from a shop that had one left over in the attic, from a few years back.
I've understood it as they are illegal to sell, but not illegal to use.

Its lots of FUN, best to start with a short line.

I am just worried that when this one breaks i might not be able to get another one

Thanks for the welcome.

P.s anyone into foiling here??

I think the tubes that were banned were the kite tubes which you actually sat down in...a friend had one in high-school in orlando and it took a good 40 mph to get it flying, then it flipped everytime. I refused to get in that trap.

The one like lars' really isn't too bad...

I'm going to catch it for all this tubing expertise I can already tell.

Nice pics everyone, especially Shawn, bringing back the memories of my 89

As I have said previously, this was a highlight of my life. As it turns out, it was apparently one for her as well. On the occasions since, when it is just the three of us out on the boat, she has been quite vocal in her disappointment in not being able to ski together. We put the boat away towards the end of September and I have been in full blown withdrawl since then. Next summer simply will not come soon enough.

Nope Chris that's by the parking lot you guys parked the truck and trailer while boating on the Reservoir! It was really really high there all summer long. We take an annual campin trip and were able to pull the boats right up to the tents :)

Jim,

Where are you guys on Burton? I know that Whaler in the background looks familiar.

We are on Cherokee with a blue Supra Comp and I worked at Cherokee Landing for 10 years before it closed back in 2003.

Thats crazy Mike. I'll have to check it out in the spring so I can see the difference. Hard to comprehend that when we only see a 1-2 ft change after a big rain. Most we've ever seen was 8-10 and it was like all hell broke loose. lol

My buddy Dan just finished up a video of our first summer wakeboarding behind the Tique, he did a pretty good editing job so thought I would post it. It was a great summer and we are all suffering withdrawal now...trying to save up for the 2001 they are begging me to buy for next year...

Nice video, I love the crash sequence near the end! Also, very nice boat, but let's see more pics of it and a diary entry.

Same here...

Jamie, did not see your question until tonight. We often visit friends at Burton and trailer our boat. Their house is in Moccosin Creek. We usually go up several weekends during the summer. Will have to look for your Supra when we are there.
