Thanks Tim, I'll get a price from a local shop in the spring. There's nothing like a fitted snap-on cover.

The local shops Ive tried around here are almost double Angola's prices ($800-1000) for a custom sunbrella cover. For a non-towable (mooring/storage), theres simply no better solution that Ive found. Skiboatcovers is another good place to try, but on a boat this old, I doubt they have the right template. Angola was supplying Midwest Correct Craft with covers dating back to the 60's, so they have all the older patterns that no one else does. If you happen to find someone local who can compete on the pricing though, let me know- maybe we can get a 2-fer deal.
Cant say Im with you on the snaps though... I only use drawstring types. You wont catch me drilling holes in my boat for a cover!! |

Basically useless unless the boat already had snaps. Ha I have an 87 cover like that too. That 94-96 cover would be close it's that Charcoal Tweed color.

Yeah it would be... I actually dont need another cover for the '90, but the right year/color/material/price would be tempting. The aforementioned boats need them much more!

Careful- most mooring covers are not trailerable... and most still really arent even if they say they are. Extra straps do not make a loose fitting cover trailerable! I dont think Zach is selling any trailerable covers... I suspect most of his stock comes from Angola. They do make a pretty darn nice mooring cover though! |

The one I got was a Westland with bow provision, loops for trailer straps (sewn in along edge), jaw string, platform cover, and snap kit (if you are into that sort of thing) and fit tight(almost too tight for back post to go in). Great price and all around cover for boats that spend most of life in garage or boathouse. I think Angola is little better quality mooring cover for sure. and TRB is correct... even dedicated trailer covers can tear on hwy so for Zach's price... you can't beat these! If I go on PN (rare), I will somehow mention this... |

I love matching covers- looking good! I really like the Angolas I have, but the Westland I have on my '90 fits real nice too (same color as yours). I should clarify- my suspicion is that the majority of the older covers that Zach has are probably from Angola, 1)because N3 bought out Midwest's old stock, and Angola supplied MWCC with covers and 2)Angola is really the only company out there that has any of the older (pre-80) CC patterns.
A truly trailerable cover (like a Rankin/Coversports or a custom local job) can do a lot of miles no problem... went back and forth from CT to WI with mine. But thats a totally different animal from what we're talking about here! |

Dang Andy shes looking good! Theres always been something about red and black that gets me.
There was an awesome rig going do the highway this past summer Andy. It was your boat exactly being pulled by a very clean 04ish Chevy 3/4 ton truck with matching color! It's beautiful when a rig comes together. |

Zach,
Please tell me about the tweed charcoal for the 94-96 Ski. Would it fit a '90's Ski and the platform with no snaps. Material, manufacturer, condition (new??) Thanks, Todd |
