I thought I had them sold and the guy backed out at the last second. I was out looking at another boat during that time and just decided to pull everything off the market. My phone was ringing off the hook with interested buyers but I decided I rather spend 4 or 5 grand repairing this one than sprend 15-20 on another used CC. The economy is not that great here in MI and I'm just playing it safe.

I will have a 92 hull with a 95 top cap on it along with the trailer left when I'm finished. If anyone would like the hull for a v-drive project I will donate it for free.

I have two in the in the garage now and I'm trying to make one good boat out of both of them. It has been going slow, the house needed new windows this fall and that's been taking up all of my time and money. I was tninking of getting rid of both boats but can't bring myself to do it. I've owned ski nautique's since 1986, my family and I have had alot of great fun and memories with these boats.

I moved to Plymouth, MI last July. I was living in Ben Avon Hghts. We did most of our skiing on the Beaver River above the dam. This is some of the best water in PA. You can see this section of the Beaver when you drive out the Turnpike westbound going over the bridge just before the the Beaver exit.

Pgaboeing,
Going by your 412 area code it looks like your in the 'burgh. I'm in the cranberry area. When are you moving? Are you going to be around a while? |

He's not parting out.
The transom cups can be found at White Lake. They say theyre for the V-drives, so you might want to check if theyre the same for your boat. |

I am looking for a set of the black covers for the transom lift rings. I'm not sure what they are called but they are screwed to the transom under the swim platform. I have a '98 176 (not 196). Do you have these for sale?
Thanks, Jim JTBMD@fuse.net |

Thanks for all the interst. I finally bought a new house in MI. I've decided to do a fully restore on the boat. After looking at new ones this seemed to be the best route.

Hey Pgaski... sorry to hear the stringers went on such a nice boat.
Please update us on whether you are parting it out or not; if you are parting it out, I'd be interested in the skegs/fins and rudder at least. julescms [at] gmail [dot] com |
