The motorola r2y1 part number has been superceded several times! I just ordered a brand new one today for 25$ There is a place here in indy called Vans that can get it for you. They also rebuild boat carbs, alternators, and starters. They are very good! Their number is (317)240-5900 .Kevin

I dropped vans off my alt. friday and ordered the volt reg.(they had 4 in stock actually)They called me today and alt was finished already. They are charging me 110 for alt and 25 for new reg. I use these guys all of the time for my drill rig and semi parts. I am not sure what a new motorola alt. cost but probably 250?? Anyway I thought I would help out on something I do know because I will be asking many questions from the rest of you! I also use a shop here in Indy to rebuild all of my trannys and the owner used to work at the borg warner plant building the velvet drives in Muncie In. He said he can do these very cheap! Anyway thanks guys! Kevin
