That's my neighbor's boat. We found it in the same field as the 66 Mustang. He's not quite ready to part with it.

I'm sorry Steve and Adam, but I just don't see the possibility or humor here. I think Critter is much more on tract here, in that the chances are greater that the 409 would end up in the good ol' company forklift before I'd pull a HM (Holman Moody, aka He-Man) in favor of a Bowtie.

Bruce,
You'll see that in the above photo, Ralph's signature has been routed out with a die grinder (Dremel tool) and burr. Then a note for it to be filled with white gel. Sanded smooth and buffed out.

Now that you've explained it... I'd been wondering how they'd done that. What a beautiful job.

For those who haven't see it, I've created a desktop image of the CCF boat in multiple screen sizes.

Youll find them on the CCF boat page and Ive posted them here:

1280 x 1025
1024 x 768
800 x 600
1440 x 900

To make one of these images your desktop, follow the appropriate link then right-click on the image and select 'Set as Background'.

Sure would like to see some photos of the Orange Crush in her new home.

Also......is it just me? Shouldn't she be the featured CC on the front page by now?

I'm jonesin' for some more activity on this boat.

I guess that's my responsibility now and I haven't done a good job thus far. She's been proudly on display at the BBC since her trip down to Lake Norman, Mooresville/Charlotte, NC. For those not familiar with it, the BBC is the "Boys Boat Club" as someone jokingly named it, and is just a warehouse where a number of buddies store and work on boats, 90% of which are vintage Correct Crafts. We've covered the walls with CC banners and beer girl posters and have a beer stock that typically rivals An-Busch. I'll post some new picts since we had to change locations several months ago.

I am sure that there are those on the website that can come up with interesting words that would work with "BBC"

Even the mention of "members" is getting The Godfather aroused. He'd fit right in at the BBC.

Thanks Reid.

The BBC sounds like a cool place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon. I'm a big fan of old CC's, cold beer and certainly beer girl posters.

Looking forward to the pix.

After being a terrific costodian of the Orange Crush for about two and a half years, Reid sold the Crush to Greg Benjamin (Tim/TRBenj's dad) The boat now resides in western Connecticut and has been a featured guest (host??) at the two gatherings at the Benjamin compound these past two summers.
