I know Ken mentioned this in another post but I think it's worth mentioning again here.

On Saturday Ken Spurling ended up breaking a throttle cable out on the water as we were all leaving one location for another. Reid stepped in and volunteered to be Ken's throttle-man, operating from the carb over the four miles of open water to get to Log Bay.

Once there, a call was made into Adirondack Marine from the demo 230 that was pulling the surfers. Jeff Roch, Service Manager, left the boat show that was going on in Lake George Village, grabbed a new cable from inventory, jumped in a boat and drove the 4+ miles to Log Bay, jumped in Ken's boat and changed the cable on the spot. Ken was good to go for the long drive back with an escort from Jeff, just in case.

Outstanding customer service. Adirondack Marine is one class act.

That is remarkable, in the truest sense of the word. However, I suspect they would do it for anybody, anytime if they had the part available.

No doubt! From what I understand, this is how Adirondack Marine treats anyone.

I am proud that we managed to put eight hours on the CCF boat on Saturday!

With that said, I know not everyone got a chance to drive it or ski behind it. The good news is this boat will be making the trip to Green Lake next July and back to Lake George next September. All the more reason to not miss either event in 2009!

I know he loves his boat.. but good shot of Ken getting "goosey" with his '86 behind Farmer's beached Mustang.

Lots of great pics, thanks for posting all of them. We have still yet to see the Orange Crush on the trailer in all her glory! (no bystanders)

Great shots of some really good looking boats...

It didn't look like there was a really good general area to beach and or anchor to enjoy all the boats once on water.. No sand bars etc to be had???

Ken, OMG,,, what are you doing???? haha

First I want to thank all for a good time. This was our first reunion and I will say for sure that it will not be the last. Next year I plan on getting there on Thursday and leaving Monday. This year was a little tough bringing our 21 month old daughter Brianna. But we all had a blast. I wish I had more time to meet and hang out with all of you. Everyone was great!

I can tell you all first hand that the service and professionalism that you all saw from Adarondack Marine is how they really are. 2 years ago on memorial day I destroyed my prop and rudder on a rock. I called Adarondack not expecting anyone to be there. Tom answered and told me he had what I needed to get up and running again and to give him a call when I was on my way and he would make sure he was there when I got there. Now that's service!!

I also won't soon forget the 85 mph blast across the lake with Reid in some guys boat with twin super charged 525's
Than right after that hopping into the Orange Crush. And yes we did get air!! Not sure about the prop out of the water but she was airborne. Looked behind us and there was a section of wake missing!

Flyin' Bryan, make sure you bring that air chair next year. I want to see you in action on that thing!

Can't wait to see more pic's. I will try to upload some when I get home as I am doing this on my Blackberry at work.

Can't wait until next year!

Jeff

Mojo, Log Bay is an excellent place to anchor in just a few feet of water and is where we all ended up. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures while we were there. I know others did.

Mojo,
There where two different 'sandbars' we visited. The first was Sandy Bay which was pretty close to Marine Village (home base) and the perfect spot. We were unfortunately kicked out for 'rafting', i.e. tying up. So then moved North about four miles to Log Bag which has an undeveloped shoreline. Despite the longer ride, I think that's where we'll start next year.

Hollywood, I was just recovering from my weekend assault from Quinner, now you're giving it to me? Man, you Midwest fellas never miss an opportunity to throw a jab or two! Are you Quinner's offspring or what?

Dude, I have no idea what's up with that photo. I was trying to jockey my boat on and off the sand. My tracking fins we sucked into the sand/mud a pain in the rear to move.

BTW, take a look at that photo again. I'm inside my boat and that's somebody else with their leg on my boat. I wore shorts, not a long wetsuit. There's no way that's me. So who is that?

No problem, Bruce. Hollywood has an eye for things that make him happy. It's definitely not me. I wore my brown shorts that day. I'm inside my boat on the driver's side.

Hey...I just wanted to thank Keith for a great job in organizing and executing the Northeast Reunion. What an awesome time! So glad to have met so many great people! I would like to also thank New England Correct Craft, Craig and Fred. They worked their butts off to get the engine in the 77 Nautigue and dial in the alignment on the transmission of the Barracuda. I hope they had fun dealing with us as much as we had fun dealing with them! The boats ran great! A little bummed when we got home from Lake George and unloaded the 2 boats...our season will be coming to a close soon. I am fighting it though! I will be out on the water until it snows if I have my way!!!!

Welcome, to the site!!!!

Tell my number one Fan, that I said hello!!!

It was great to meet your family and to see your boats on the water.

But do you have enough gas to keep the Barracuda running till the end of the season....(hehe).

Hey! Glad you made it home safe. I love the picture of you protecting Barbie..chivalry is certainly not dead. Your #1 fan is still recovering from the weekend. Did she tell you that she really is not a fan of water? I told her to hang on to the bumper and enjoy the ride! Good times!

One of the coolest things of last weekend was seeing CudaChick tearing around in HER boat. Just don't see too many ladies killing it old school.

Welcome CudaChick - I owe you your very own badge now. More than happy to oblige.

I'm glad I encouraged you to get on the forum. Just as Quinner proves twice a year, with enough harassment, guys can get their way
