Randy, thanks for sharing the picture. There is something else that we are working on that yourself and others might be interested in.

We are working on getting the pin-stripe 1/8 inch reflective tape used on the Correct Craft trailers for many years. Please let me know if there is an interest, or if it can be purchased elsewhere.

Thanks Randy, that works perfectly. Glad to here that the boat is working out! Please update with pictures of your restoration. That would be very interesting for both Scott and I. The yellow 1989 always caught alot of attention from people. Most people would think that the boat was only a few years old.

We are looking at trying to do the mid 1980's black Ski Nautique trailer decal and the late 1980's black Ski Nautique with the globe. We have a very good image of the black with the globe from skierbrant who owns a 1989, but nothing for the split diagonal from about 1985-1988. Please let us know if there is an interest in getting this done, or are some of these decals still out there?

Thanks-Pauly-Banana

Pauly,

Thanks, I will drop a check in the mail on Monday. Say hello to Scott for me, let him know the boat perfroming well. I am getting the gelcoat repaired in a few spots. Too much for me to tackle and expect professional results.

I am working with one CC's former employees when they were located in Pincastle from a while back. He used to the glassman responsible for 1989 Ski Nautique hull molds.

Thanks,
Randy

Pauly, I totally understand your reasoning on the compromises- I think thats very reasonable. You did a heck of a job and even kept the price much lower than I expected... job well done! I think these should sell very well for you. I know that Ill take several sets- Ill shoot you an email.

Here is the awsome price I am offering all of you!

Cost per sticker will only be $5.00 dollars each or a set for $10.00 dollars plus $5.00 dollars for shipping and handling within the United States lower 48! Other locations will need to be handled on an individual basis. So the grand total per set is $15.00 shipped!

Here is how to order:

Contact me by email or phone!

mrfurymn.8124@yahoo.com
or call at 952-432-4318 ask for Paul

If by email please include location to be shipped, phone number and how many sets and year either 1970 or 1980 decal. Try to stay away from telling me the year of your boat because we are not exactly sure what decal you want.

I perfer your check or money order

We decided to produce these knowing that we could only really get close on the 1970's decal. In an effort to help keep our cost down, we decided to produce what we pictured! The script had to be hand drawn. We used the 1980's bottom font in the 1970's decal to also help keep cost resonable. We had a huge advantage on the 1980's decal. Bruce at N3 marine sent two chrome 1980's decals that could be used to help reduce design cost and provide something for us to work with! The reality was that we were never able to get a good image to use or never a complete decal picture without some obstruction within the image. It took time just to get the size since many people offered a variety of measurements. In discussion with our design artist "Dan" the original font in Correct Craft does not exist as a computer text and was of course hand drawn many years ago. The curles within the font on the letters expecially the "C's" were the most challenging. For us it would have been much easier to only produce the 1980's decal, but we did not want to disappoint many of you. Adding more artwork and time into the design would increase the cost of each decal. The chrome decal really looks awsome and I hope that it really adds something special to your boat and trailer.

By the way we slightly increased the size of both decals to help cover years of fading on your trailer! The size of the 1980's is 2 1/8 X 10 5/8 and the 1970's is 2 3/8 X 12 1/4

Thanks, Yes if it were not for Leo and the Ski Nautique we would probably not be communicating on a web site such as this and Correct Craft would not have the kind of Cult Following of their brand that they have had for decades. He is a very nice man and he was kind enough to pass on to me some very special treasures.

Mike, I would be glad to give you my email! I now have plenty of graphics/images for the 1975 decal. We are good to go! Thanks so much, many will benefit from our efforts.

It is: mrfurymn.8124@yahoo.com

What great history! Your information really says it all! Hopefully many can see how important Leo Benz was in creating such a great ski boat!

Bah, that statement probably came from the marketing dept.

"Specifically engineered hull form to give maximum speed."

Now we're talking!

Not quite, Tim.
