New to the site so pardon the dumb question...

Am a proud new member to the Nautique family. Recently purchased a 1997 Sport Nautique....love it!
Havent even had it a month and dinged my prop last weekend. Bent it pretty good on two of the four blades. No vibrations at high or low rpm...just cosmetic damage I guess. I called a prop shop and was told they can repair it for around 100.00. Sounds reasonable. Have pulled the prop off yet, but any idea what 4 blade (size) is on this boat or is appropriate if I were to replace it?

Congratulations on the new ride!
what prop is on the boat now? the new prop you want will depend of what you what you use the boat for and what you want to do with the new prop.

NA - Just went thru this same scenario - bought a second prop because it is prime wreck'em season & the repair shop has a 10 day backlog. It is good to have a backup prop this time of year. You might get a slightly different pitch, just to have the option when you need it.

Do you want more power or speed?

looking for hole shot power. Run boat in low rpm range most of the time wakesurfing or wakeboarding.

Hey Brad, good to see another Texan on here. Sports rock! I'm only running the stock prop so don't have any suggestions for you, but if you search the forum for "props" you'll find lots of suggestions...
