Keith, any photos of the SN200 that's going to LG? I'm anxious to get a pull behind it!

It will be easy to spot. It will be the only one there.

Hey, Kevin, it will be great to meet you. I go to Webster Lake every now and then. I live about 30 minutes from there. Do you live on the lake?

BTW, who is going to have the fastest Correct Craft at the LG reunion? I'd be happy to race off the line with someone, but I don't think I will hit the finish line first. I will still take Tim off the line!

What, did NECC install some new heads for you? Otherwise, dont count on it!

That's BJ's '81, different graphics from our '79... but dont you even worry about the BFN. You couldnt make it past my stock 302 Skier- so taking on my '90 or the Big Block might be getting ahead of yourself!

D'oh! The 2001 hull will get on plain and get some distance from the hefty BFN hull. I will bet you a beer I jump off the line faster and pull away first. You will kick my ace in the long run though.

You might as well cough up that drink, Tim. My engine is broken in nicely, timing advanced and the 540 has some serious bite.

Plus the BFN is 400 pounds heavier than the 2001 hull.

It will actually be the only 200 in the Northeast and one of the very few made by mid-September.

Adirondack Marine had ordered two 200s (one closed bow and one open bow) to have for the Reunion in Lake George. We found out right before Green Lake that neither would be ready in time (delivery scheduled for October). So I was unable to announce anything at Green Lake.

Well, Off Shore Marine, out of NJ, stepped up big time and is bringing their 200 up for the event! I really hope Louie can make it as well. A BIG thank you to Louie for making this happen and for giving everyone at the Reunion a look at the new 200.

Ken, what if I put a 13x12 540 on the boat instead of the 13x15? Still think you could keep up with a 400hp tug boat out of the hole?

Keith, great work on securing the SN200 for the reunion... once again Lake George will be the site of a much anticipated unveiling! Any chance it'll be a closed bow?

Tim, whatever you prop it with, it's not a quick plaining hull. You will be AOL dial up versus me, Verizon Fios. You won't beat me off the line. Maybe the 90, but not the BFN.

Keith, awesome! Patricia's camera is packed and my ski will be ready to go.

Yes yes yes kids, I'm really enjoying this discussion between Tim and Ken...

Make sure to plan that race in! And especially some footage of this event...
- Gun control means: using BOTH hands!
- Money doesn't make one happy, but when it rains cats and dogs, it's still better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle...

I may need to consult with the Godfather about the proven performance between a BFN hull vs Ski hull. The BFN hull is much deeper and heavier that the ski. No doubt, Tim will pull away with that 454 on crack. I think I recall Tim mentioning that his boat is doggy due to carburetor issues. This should be to my advantange, unless Tim puts dual carburetors and a blower under the hood.

Regardless, it should be good ole fashion fun for the whole family. Get your camcorders charged up!

So in addition to packing skis. cameras, sharpies, refreshments, and sunscreen, now should we all bring a helmet or maybe just boots.

I don't want to claim a advantage with the 98 EFI but it has a Top Speed Champion (TSC) hull design.

Ken,

I'll take your off the line challenge!

I'll even keep my timing pretty mild an probably still run ya and maybe beat ya on the big end too ;-)

Hmmm, you're packing a big-block 454 in the ski hull. I'll pass. You should line up against Tim. 454 Ski vs 454 BFN. Now that sounds like a good one!

I'll line up against anyone. I'll lose to many and hopefully beat out a few. But it's all in fun for my first CCF reunion!

The match that took place today - 1978 untuned, unmodified Ski Nautique vs. 2008 Ski Nautique 206 Limited.

Guess who won? ;)

How bad of a beating did the ole '78 take? Not even a contest.

I'm stumped. That's one for the classic, zero for high tech.
