Got any tips / tricks on polishing up 70's era reasonable chrome? Mild pitting, lifting ring use wear, dingy chrome..... Cleaning up transom thru-hull fittings for the display..... Lifting rings, stern light bases, etc........ Thanks - Steve

I used some aluminum foil and soap. Works pretty good. the foil is softer the chrome so it does not scratch it. Just wad up a piece of foil and try a small area. Then complete using a car wax with soft cloth.
