I have a 91 ski nautique with an electrinic ignition.
When the boat is cold i can crank it for ever and magically after a couple minutes it starts up. I narrowed it don to an ignition issue. For the first several minutes of a cold start i will not get any spark (I know this because i put a test light on one of the spark plug wires and cranked it). then magically after a couple minutes i get spark (and light). This has been happening consistently for some time now. When the boat is warm, it starts right up. Does anyone know what could be causing this. Thanks for your help Patrick |
