I think the tank is a modernization. GM didn’t use that style till 1973.
I’m sure there’s been a lot of loving care taken of this boat over the years. |

So here's the deal. I simply put the boat on craigslist to see what kind of offers I would get. If the offer is right, I'll sell it, otherwise I'll go ahead with my restoration.
So Guys what would be a good price to sell it at? I'm sure I'll get the "this guy is dumb deal, or whatever," but just curious. I'll take the highest offer! If it sells, I'll get another one. The original gas tank was rusted out, so i bought the boat as it with the Chevy Truck tank... |

If any of you guys want high HP engines, look for rotted-out wood Centuries from the 50's and 60's. Century would put anything you wanted in special order boats. I've seen Cal-Custom Cadillac's, Hemi's, 427 Fords and Chevy's, nail-head Buick's, 413 & 426 Chrysler's. I used to mess around with them myself and made a couple bucks. Guy's building replica Cobra's would buy those 427 Fords all day long and not worry about which way they turned.

I'm glad it's not closer, for $1,300 I'd be interested if it were.

Guys,
I would love to keep this boat, but with a divorce, I just can't with no place to store it. I've sold all my other boats and this is the last one I have. :( I hate to see it go! I just want it to go to someone who will restore it and use it like I once planned on it. Some work has been done, but just the basic stuff. |

I did ask him, but he was not.
They guy lived an hour away from me on a big lake. He had an older Bayliner that somehow caught fire and ruined the boat. The boat was on the trailer in his backyard. He knew he was done with the stern drives and outboards, so he is going to do a complete restore from where I left off at. I'll be getting updates via email with pictures about the update. He was a nice guy! So I am happy knowing it went to someone who will appreciate it. |

Somehow caught fire?? Well, that's one way to get rid of a Bayliner!!! I hope you told him about CCfan. I'd sure like to see that boat restored as well as others here. You know we sure could help him out. |
