    Posted: November-25-2009 at 11:48am
I got to wondering what the average year and model would be if there were a composite look at the "average" CCF owners boat. I think it is an obvious assumption that the average model would be a Ski Nautique, but, lets see what some of the other models would be that have strong representation.

I am going to venture a guess it will be the '90-'96 Ski Nautique. What is your guess as to what it will be?

Tell us the year and model of your boat(s).

'76 Southwind for me.

I am not sure if I calculated this correctly, but I think my average would be an 1978 18.5 foot with a 369 Chryforchev engine.

Judging from attendance at the reunions I highly doubt the average year makes it up into the 90's

No this one is kinda like a not sure what to do with. It has some history as during that time period Correct Craft had their contract skiers signitures on their boats, this one has Carl Roberge on it in big hand painted script. I also know where the Cindy Todd boat is as one of mt best freinds has it. I am also not one of those guy's that belive in total orginality of boats especially having been part of a design team and seen some of the crap that gets out the door design wise.

You may look at the totals in the Diary section to get a better idea. I will put mine in soon.

85 SN w/ 454

I think Joe is right, I doubt the average is into the 90's. I may be surprised though.

Couldn't this data be pulled from the diaries section by someone more website savy than myself? I don't know if there is a way to pull all of that into a database, but that would make quick work of this.

The Diaries are going to give you skewed data because of all the ***************es creating one just to try to sell their boat.

I would say the most popular hull among forum members would be the 2 generation Ski Nautique.

I think we could look at the count of boats, by class, in the the show at GL.

I would think that would be a representative sample.

This may take some searching.
