Did all 80 and 81 Ski Nautiques have the teak cover over the air scoop on the front deck. I saw a 81 that had the scoop, but no teak. What's the deal?

Some 81's had a flimsey molded piece of gel coated fiberglass covering the bow air ram.

So is it not a teak insert in the 79's? Is it fiberglass?

79's had the teak. Some, If you were lucky, were a cast aluminum plate with a Correct Craft since 1925 cast into it. They only appeared in 79.
