i am still trying 2 get my material together cant seem 2 find 2x10 dfir hope us lumber will have them someone is telling me 2 use 2 2x6 glued together dont want 2 do that does anyone have a list of material i will need 2 order from uscomp 2 do complete prim and sec stringer job and new floor

Do not try to use two 2X6. What boat do you own?
To create the main stringers for an 82-89 SN, you really need a 2X10X14 feet long to do it in one piece. The stringer is a little over 13 feet long. At minimum, you need a 2X8X14and you will need to add a wedge on top of the stringer at the stern portion which hold up the gas tank. BKH |
