Hey guys,
We are thinking about moving to Florida during the Winter and wanted to get some feedback from people where the best place to look is for skiing. I don't want to risk my life every time I get in the water. I am not Steve Irwin and don't enjoy swimming with gators :). Any advice would be welcome. Thanks! |

Central Florida. Home to many great lakes and ski schools. Water Ski Hall of Fame. Eddie Olson. Great attractions. Gators that don't bother skiers. Year-round skiing. Correct Craft factory.
Me and Patti been here almost 6 years now...never sorry we moved from Ohio...except for missing my bro and ski club buds. Love the weather. john |

jbears right, central Florida is the best palce to move to. Im in lakeland right in the middle of everything. I've been sking Cent. Fla lakes for 15 years and never had a gator problem. You have nothing to worry about UNLESS you ski with raw chickens..

Born and raised in Orlando, skied since I was 4 and never had an issue with alligators. Remember an alligator does not want anything to do with a rumbling Nautique and always keep the motor running. Biggest problem with skiing here is getting away from the boats and finding a place to park at the ramp.
