The latest addition.

I thought I'd start a dedicated thread for our latest addition. I've posted bits & pieces, but not much of any real significance.

I have always wanted a V drive Correct Craft from the modern era. And with the 1991 project still under way I wasn't really looking, but when I saw the add for this all black number I had to have it. It's a 2003 model that has been fitted with the newer style 2006 tower.

It's made it's way from Washington state to Brisbane Australia.

I bought it with a "cracked block". When it finally arrived and we checked it out, the description was more like "cracked block, cracked heads & cracked manifolds.

Mechanically it's now all sorted. Now I can start on the gelcoat.

I also remember that one, nice! And congratulations of course.
Does that boat fit in a container?! A 2001 barely fits, so I'm surprised this works.
I dig the all black but don't think it'll work well in Costa Rica. I'm hoping to find an all white 210 in the next 2 years or so.

No dizzy.! I didn't realize that it was actually missing until the boat arrived.

For some reason, a lot of things had been taken apart.?

Also the screen seems to be factory tinted glass, not film.

I love your 02.! I actually prefer the white stripe on the 02.

Andrew looks like that boat was previously owned by a CCfan member. He left the sticker on the trailer. Love the look of the all black. Keeping the water spots off it will be a fulltime job but it does look stealth.
Broken the bubbly over the bow yet?

As Trip mentioned I would like to see how they got the boat in the container. I assume they made a cradle to get the boat in the container. I see you have the US trailer did they fit the trailer in the same container?
Do you have any pictures of the boat in the container.

I installed a brand new PCM direct replacement + new manifolds & risers.
Will try to get some more pics up tonight.

Andrew are you going to refit the decals or leave it stealth. Are those 2 white pumps in the bilge the ballast pumps? They look a bit like bait pumps.

Get used to removing and replacing those GM engines.

Thinking of fitting 2010 Chromax decals, but they are a bit pricey. Migt go for the gel versions.

Yeah they are the rear fill pumps - Aerator style pumps. I found it interesting that Tsunami pumps were used for fill, and Rule pumps for empty.

Yeah lots of elbow grease.!   It's about 1/2 the standard I want it to be.

I would describe it as good enough to get out there for our ski weekend. Note I even had my name still on the screen from the import on the first day till I found a blade to get it off.

I know the bow was a bear, because I built that boat.

I was the one that built all the soild 210 back then.
