Can anyone suggest a place to get my prop repaired, hopefully in the Central Texas area?
My wife was picking me up off the ramp on Memorial Day and the wind was so high she let the boat get pushed into the ramp, then dropped it in forward to get it off... It's not too bad, just wrinkled on blade over about 1/4" and scarred up the other 3 pretty good. Thanks in advance! John |

John,
I don't know of a prop shop in your area however, Delta Prop (banner to the left) is a site sponsor and known to be very good. They have all the best equipment and will balance it as well. Some shops do not and just hand bend it back in shape over pitch blocks. Don't forget to lap it back onto the shaft when you get it back. |

If you want to go local, nettle props in Austin. I've used them with good results. They even let me borrow a prop puller.

Nette's for repair, Delta for replacement (no sales tax and a discount). They're right off of N Lamar around Braker, they also pick up from most all the dealers. They fixed my Acme last year, good as new, I think it was about $125 and the damage was very minimal.
