I have a 1976 Southwind 20 and I need an impeller. I contacted Correct Craft in Fla. and they said they needed to know the brand of impeller. I am not sure as the housings are not stamped with a maker. It has an OMC GM 250hp 350 emgine with RH rotation. The pump is pulley driven and sits to the lower left of the engine when facing it. The impeller has 6 vanes and has the number
J-7480 on the inside and also the lettering LORD. Any help would be appreciated.
                      Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. Vince was great and did alot of research to find the proper impeller. Seems that year (76) Sherwood used the H-85, G-42-2. and the G-46. All took the same impeller and he was able to locate 2 of them.   Thanks to stang and Vince at skidim. You guys make boat work a little less painful!

LATE REPLY. YOUR ENGINE IS OMC WHICH USED ITS OWN KIND OF WATER PUMP. A SHERWOOD IMPELLER WILL NOT FIT INTO THE HOUSING. SOMEBODY MIGHT HAVE CHANGED THE PUMP TO A SHERWOOD. IF YOU WOULD CALL ME AT 407-851-1965. I WILL TRY TO HELP YOU. I DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU TALKED TO AT CORRECT CRAFT. THAT IMPELLER IS STOCK ITEM AT THIS PLACE. HOPE I WAS ABLE TO HELP.
