J_I_H; Glad you are home safe. We sure missed you for a few days on here. When we moved down to FLA last summer we never figured on all this. Well, the price you pay to have year-round summer.

I think he's ducking us because he can't live
up to the hype and anticipation of the final
chapters of the Chocalate Bayou story

Hey Mack and JBear, are you guys gonna
get clobbered by Wilma? I hope everyone
makes it through this one in good shape.

We also left Houston for the storm. What a mess getting out of town. Spent 4 hours on HWY 59 only to turn off on FM 1960. Spent a few hours taking back roads into Louisiana but made it safely and was able to ski for a few days.

Glad to hear you're all safe. Watch out for Wilma!

BKH; Just noticed this post also. About Wilma, looks as tho we might be hit if she comes ashore in Fort Myers. We are in Lake Wales, center of the state. Last year, our first here, we got hit by all 3 storms. All went within 3 miles of our house. Lost a section of our new roof in Charlie. Was only in the house 3 weeks or so. Never been thru that before up in Ohio. Welcome to FLA!...john
