It is nice to see that Correct Craft has gone back to a nice classic Nautique look with a solid stripe and the old font Ski Nautique decals on the sides . The only drawback is the price on the boat , $48000,00 . I almost fell over when I read that . The Wakeboard boats are in the mid 50's , I just do not see it .
That is why I will just enjoy the old ones .
Surely those high price tags have hendered sales of some of these ski boats ???

On the flip side, the high prices of the new CC's help preserve the value and mystique of the old ones.

Interesting at the Vallejo reunion, I didn't hear anyone who disliked the "old school" graphics on the ski boats. However, a number of people thought it was too close to the 97/98 boats, so that the boat wouldn't stand out as new. Guess you can't please all the people.

Yes , Those are very cool !!
I keep hoping they will do an anniversary Ski Nautique , Kinda like the Silver Nautique (25th anniversary Model 1986 ) Maybe in 2011 they will make a 50th Anniversary Ski Nautique ??
I might buy one if my knees still work .

Better yet , Correct Craft could have a Build your own boat option where you could pick your design , old school 70's /80's Graphics and colors , just on a new hull .
That would be cool !!

Hey that's my '78! I too love the side graphics on the boat. You can read it well across the lake and there is no mistaking that it is a nautique.

I was thinking of changing the colors but it is starting to grow on me.
