It is nice to see that Correct Craft has gone back to a nice classic Nautique look with a solid stripe and the old font Ski Nautique decals on the sides . The only drawback is the price on the boat , $48000,00 . I almost fell over when I read that . The Wakeboard boats are in the mid 50's , I just do not see it .
That is why I will just enjoy the old ones . Surely those high price tags have hendered sales of some of these ski boats ??? Mike |

On the flip side, the high prices of the new CC's help preserve the value and mystique of the old ones.

Interesting at the Vallejo reunion, I didn't hear anyone who disliked the "old school" graphics on the ski boats. However, a number of people thought it was too close to the 97/98 boats, so that the boat wouldn't stand out as new. Guess you can't please all the people.

Yes , Those are very cool !!
I keep hoping they will do an anniversary Ski Nautique , Kinda like the Silver Nautique (25th anniversary Model 1986 ) Maybe in 2011 they will make a 50th Anniversary Ski Nautique ?? I might buy one if my knees still work . Mike |

Better yet , Correct Craft could have a Build your own boat option where you could pick your design , old school 70's /80's Graphics and colors , just on a new hull .
That would be cool !! Mike |

Hey that's my '78! I too love the side graphics on the boat. You can read it well across the lake and there is no mistaking that it is a nautique.
I was thinking of changing the colors but it is starting to grow on me. |
