Does anyone know of anyone that makes a stencil kit for the graphics on my 76 Tique? Most of the letters and stripes are still visible im hoping to have the graphics repainted in the next week or two.

The basic answer is no. It's been mentioned many times but instead of you trying to do a search and go through tons of posts, my best recommendation is this. You still have the remnants of the graphics - trace them the best you can - take the tracing - take them in to a vinyl graphics shop and they can scan the tracing - they will then be able to clean it up on their computer and then cut what's comically called a "gerlber mask". There are several different brands but go with the very best. The "mask" is a stencil or, the reverse of the positive. DO NOT let them tell you can take a digital picture so they can put in there computer! If they say so, PM me and I will link you to members who have fallen into that trap. I do not what to post/embarrass members. |

Real question is what kind of speakers are you going to mount to those fancy bolts hanging out the side of the boat....bet those were original
In the mean time...here's the thread I was telling you about. 77 graphics resto. Check out the 77 graphics restoration, it shows everything well, sorry I can never seem to copy the a link on my iPad . The direct link is in the discussion a few threads down called paint color, your boat is sharp looking. |
