Weather in Atlanta was in the 80s over the weekend and decided it was time to get the boat out of hibernation. Water temp is in the low 60s on Lanier so we headed to the lake for a boat ride. Sure is a proud moment to pull the boat out of garage give it a few shots of gas and have it start right up. There was a few folks already skiing w/out a wet suit.

Out of hibernation

Sounds Great Mark

So what all did you have to do last year after the 'Hoochie' Run to get her running right?

Had the alternator hooked up wrong and was pushing too much voltage causing the points to burn - just so happened that they burned up the day of the get together. Took me a while to figure it out though because at idle the voltage would be within tolerance, but as RPM increased the voltage would go up due to alternator output. Been running like a top since that problem got solved.
