Just got an email from Go2Marine, theyre having a sale on control and steering cables. Their normal prices on this stuff are about as good as Ive found... so this is a pretty good deal. They'll also take $10 off of a $75 order if you use the code "CONTROL2012".
QC II Steering Cables These steering cables work for all rotary (Big-T) systems through 1981. The 17-18' boats like the Ski Nautique use the 17' cable, the 16' boats (Skier, Ski Tique, Mustang 16, etc) use the 16' cable. If you have a 2001 or newer, you need a special Correct Craft cable, available only from a CC dealer. TFXtreme Control Cables These control cables are the proper replacement for the Morse 33C "red jacket" cables. Ive used the 17' lengths in all of the direct drives Ive worked on, from 16.5-19.5'. This is for boats that have their cables routed through the bulkhead in the bilge. If you have an older boat that routes the cables down the side of the boat and under the floor, then you need one 10' and one 12' cable. |
