Ahhhhhhh, the days gone by .... hard to beat a Scrambler. My first "real" bike was a 1969 Honda,125,twin cylinder,Scrambler.

At age 14 I had the world by the tail.

I saw the doctor today, he now says I can lift up to 1 pound. So I either have to gain some strength quickly, or drop about 170 pounds so that I can ski this summer.

Well that makes 2 CCFans in the last month. Prayers sent for a full & speedy recovery Chuck.
On a threadjack sidenote, fellow friend and Fan Greg Carbone was involved in an accident shortly after leaving my shop for a visit back in Early April. He totalled his Fatboy and had to have surgery on his shoulder and ankle. His wife was also on the bike and made out better than he. He's recovering slowly and hopes to be back on the water this season. Be safe out there guys. Not much between you and the ground and sh!t happens fast.

Yes, I've heard from Greg (and just realized I owe him a call, will do so tomorrow!) and that was scary, he's pretty dinged up but still lucky all things considered. I believe he's getting his boat out of storage next week so that's a good sign!

I had a blue 69 Honda CL125 too, and my friend had a red one. I loved that bike. I put 11,000 miles on it between Memorial day   and Labor day 1970, and sold it for a red 70 CB350. Those were good years. I guess they all are!
Good luck in your recovery!
