Anyone catch the new F-150 commercial with what appears to be a 97-99 ski nautique in it? I'll see if I can find the link... :)

I did see that, but the remote was too far away for me to replay the commercial and confirm.

I saw it, or thought I did. It appears for about 1.5 seconds.

I had no means to capture it in time though.

I got it, I got it, I got it!!!!

Play the Swap your Ride, Watch and Win game here:
http://www.swapyourridegiveaway.com/default.aspx?utm_source=yournewenglandforddealer&utm_medium=tier2Web&utm_campaign=SYRG&LeadSourceId=SYRGFDAFMain&AltLeadSource=SYRGFDAFMain

Then, pick the F150. You actually get tons of extra Ski Nautique footage that's not in the TV version.

I had to send the link to my girlfriend, because she thought I had totally lost my marbles and was seeing things.

LOL. "It looks like it might have been a boat or something"

Of course, I see Ski Nautiques in the clouds, in wallpaper... in Jello. But that's another matter...

That black and tan (didn't it also come in dark green and dark blue) has long been a favorite of mine. Weren't some or all of those badged as something special, like the "masters" version or something like that?

Yep, the cream hull and decked boats with the secondary zephyr stripe, gold pinstriping and tan interiors were "Masters Editions". They came in green, navy, black and burgundy.

Surely no coincidence that the marketing firm was most likely looking for "the greatest looking trailer boat of all time" and chose the TSC1 with the 97-99 graphics.

It actually impresses me that they weren't towing a huge wakesetter or something.

I was actually wondering if the boat was chosen arbitrarily; that's just the boat the guy happened to have. Or, they wanted something that complimented the colors of the truck and was tasteful.

NWZ = Dated

TSC1 = Timeless. The polo shirt of boats. Date of manufacture unguessable by non-enthusiasts.
