Picture from an event on my home lake. I believe you will find 74Wind's brother at the helm of this 1912 Curtiss Model E. The plane is a replica built by a local museum in the 90s. The engine is a Curtiss original dating to 1912. |

- Gun control means: using BOTH hands!
- Money doesn't make one happy, but when it rains cats and dogs, it's still better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle... |

Yep, that's my brother, nice photo, thanks! Apparently this one much easier to fly than last years 1911 A-1 Triad. Kudos again to the volunteers at the Glenn Curtiss Museum, what great work. |

Here's a few more. Too bad Glenn Curtiss didn't have a helmetcam...

Hey Keuka
I sent your photo to my bro. He replied thanks & pointed out you can see his kids blond heads in the chase boat. That cat boat goes 105 mph. A Go-fast chase boat makes sense.... Last year the chase boat was a Mastercraft and he outran it (and us in his Southwind) before we even got to the old Gold Seal winery...kinda defeats the purpose of a chase boat. |

Unfortunately I cannot take credit for the picture. I "borrowed" it off facebook to post on here. I was at the lake for the show but my camera would zoom in that well. He is at least a mile out in that picture. The house top of the hill behind the plane is about 9 miles away. We saw the A-1 last year on a test flight near the end of the bluff. We just stopped in the middle and watched it circle and head back to Hammondsport. Pretty cool sight to see.
