Hello, I am in need of seat frames for my 82 nautique 2001. I need the observer seat and rear bench. I am located in Dallas TX, but willing to pay for shipping (I get a discount from work, can send a fedex label to you).

Thanks!

I don't believe there is a rear frame on the 82. The rear seat is just a big cushion that sits on the floor and the back rest snaps on the transom.

Here are some frames at NautiqueSkins.com (scroll down or search for "frame").

Thanks for the reply. I've seen the frames on NautiqueSkins I was just hoping to save some $$ and reuse someones old ones if possible. I suppose it will be easy enough to custom build the rear bench seat, rather than trying to use the brackets. I've been restoring this boat for the past 5 years and am at the point of no longer being able to break even I'm afraid (new stringers/floor, new transmission, tower, carpet, motor work, alternator, electronics) So. . . . i'm trying to keep my costs down to finish her up and be able to get out on the water!

What style interior do you have? The early 2001 delux interior had wood bases on the observer and rear seats. The standard interior used metal frames on the front seats, and the rear seat (both seat back and bottom cushions) is just vinyl over foam- no frame, base or any other hard parts.

It was the deluxe interior I believe, and the observers wood was completely rotten and un-salvageable. As far as the rear, i'm not sure if it was factory or if it was something someone had made, but it was rotten as well. I just want something simple to put back in which is why I was thinking the seat frames may be the easiest route (backs and butts). My mom has an industrial sewing machine and is pretty skilled with boat enclosures, biminis, and vinyl. She will be doing an updated custom vinyl interior for whatever panels I have needing covered.

There is nothing simpler than the factory "standard" interior:

Thanks for the pics! Agreed, that looks easy enough to do. so with the observer brackets do they allow the seat to tilt foreward to allow access to bow storage?

Are you still looking for frames for your 1982 SN observer seat? I have a set.

I have the frames but not the hinges, either Jamestown Distributors, Attwood Marine Products or Discount Marine Products have hinges for the observer seats.

I am in the exact same need, I'm looking for the rear facing bench seat (kind L shaped) and back seats or even just the frames for a 1985 and I've had no luck . I called about the skins but they don't sell the frames 😔
