I bet he borrowed a trailer from another boat for the show. If he spent that much time on it he couldn't bare to see it on a masterturd trailer

That's sharp, except the trailer. Is that a beer tap on the throttle?

We told the owner about the Lake James mini reunion....hopefully it will show up in the water sometime that weekend!

Thanks. The exhaust manifolds are not original but the motor is. All other H&M parts appear to be there.

Looking for the correct knob but my wife likes the beer tap. Would race but motor not broke in yet. So you will be there?

How about some engine pictures,is it a 302 or 351?

I will send picture later, the motor is a 351. I had it rebuilt put a slightly hotter cam in.It runs great, lots of power.

I spotted it as well. If you go back into Gregg's restoration thread, I believe the comment about having a USCG flame arrestor was made. In fact it may have even been me!

BTW, I'm sorry to see he did not use the correct floor covering in his "restoration". It should have been the vinyl wall covering or at least the Nautalex which is close.

Thanks! Both boats have gotten a lot oof attention. I would like to bring the boat over to lake james again this weekend but the parade of homes is Thursday-Sunday noon - 6:00 again this week and I will have to work most of the time. I may try to get someone to cover for me on Friday. If so my wife and I will come over if there is something going on then. Do you know if there is a show or anything at Bledsoes Beach?

I only have one. It is 100% mahogany wood. A lot of work went into this. It looks better in person.

Well, I bet that Gregg is just heart broken that his boat does not meet with PBra-hole's satisfaction or expectations.

Dude, you join the site yesterday and with your first post you are going to introduce yourself by busting on one of the most knowledgable guys here (other then Art) and on a thread that doesn't even apply to you. NOT too bright in my book and a Heck-a-va way to introduce yourself to site with whom you may need help from in the future. I know Pete personally and would not hesitate one minute to call him with questions about something I wasn't sure about. (already have several times). He may come across to those of you who don't know him (such as yourself) as a cross old man but that's just how Pete is made. He is a perfectionist and if he had his way; EVERY boat on here would be back to its 'original' state. That's just Pete! Of course you would know that already if you spent anytime here. I would suggest you give him the respect he has EARNED by being a member here and not some newbie crawling out from a rock somewhere.

You should know by now that you don't mind Pete too much! Many here have popped a few beers with Pete, had a laff with the man, give him grief over his monogramed shirts he never runs out of and he still calls us his CC Family even though MOST of us don't have our boats original.... Numerous times at a reunion you'll hear..." Ahhhhh, It's just Pete!"
