I recently purchased an '86 Nautique. The entire interior needs to be reworked. Carpet and upholstery are fairly straight forward. If anyone knows of a good upholsterer in Georgia, please let me know. The biggest challenge is how to replace the lettering on the instrument panel. This appears to be aluminum that HAD painted labels for the switches and SKI NAUTIQUE on the sides. I need some ideas.

skidawg,
The dash was silkscreened. Mine are a bit faded as well. Correct Craft stopped selling replacement dash plates about 5+ years ago. You could probably get a good decal shop to replicate them in cut vinyl. -Keith |

Skidawg, If you have the lettering for the dash redone in vinyl, I would be interested in having a replacement set. Let me know what you find out.

I live in Mcdonough but my 2 girls live in Warner Robins with their mom. I can talk to my former Father-n-law and find out. He is a boater himself and has a place on sinclair. He's a local boy and probably knows where to take it.

There is an upholstery shop here in LaGrange that has done some Nautiques, but it's probably not worth the drive from Blackshear. If you want some more info, email me through my profile button below.
